Armenian National Assembly President Ara Babloyan today hosted U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills who is finishing his diplomatic mission to the country.
Babloyan thanked Mills for his efforts aimed at growing Armenia-U.S. relations and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Referring to recent political developments in Armenia, Babloyan, according to a government press release, said: “I must continue to take measures so that Armenia follows a democratic path. All questions will be answered in an environment of political dialog, of negotiation and discussion, keeping the country free from upheaval.”
“I am certain that the U.S. government will continue to support the Armenian people in cementing a strong and independent parliament,” Mills said.
