17 young people from the Goris and Tatev communities have launched an online crowdfunding campaign to renovate the libraries’ reading room in Goris.
Before the campaign, a three day #SummerDemoCamp was organized, during which 16 young people developed their leadership skills, learnt about public policy, and met with local government officials, NGO representatives, and volunteers who serve in community. Together, they decided to launch this campaign.
The goal of the initiative is to unite young people with innovative ideas through the creation of an active youth center to promote communication and collaboration among them, thus contributing to community development.
Young people have created a campaign page in Indigogo, made a promo video and set $ 1,000 as a goal for the campaign. Thanks to more than 30 contributors from all over the world, $675$ has already been collected.
