Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artzvik Minasyan today met with a World Bank delegation led by Isfandyar Zaman Khan, the organization’s Financial and Private Sector Development Sector Leader for Europe and Central Asia.
A ministry statement says that the two sides discussed issues related to the accessibility of financing to small and medium sized businesses in Armenia.
World Bank officials told Minasyan about the programs it’s conducting in Armenia in collaboration with the IMF.
A 17-member working group is currently in Armenia to evaluate the country’s financial health.
Minasyan told the delegation about the reforms being made to attract more foreign and domestic investment.
